My mothers parenting method of the week: since today I had told her I am not planning on living out the next ten years of my life based on the way in which she wants me to..she now won’t speak to me. The kicker, I want to be more successful in what I end up doing (pursuing speech therapy, primarily with children. FYI) & her plan is basically me just settling for less..
